CHRISTMAS 2026 | FUNDRAISING PROPOSAL
HELP US PUT SMILES ON CHILDREN’S FACES THIS CHRISTMAS
Organised by Grace Evangel Mission, Ikotun, Alimosho, Lagos State.
1. Project Overview
Project 150 Smiles is a Christmas outreach initiative organised by Grace Evangel Mission, Ikotun, Alimosho, Lagos State. The project is designed to share joy, hope and practical support with children and less-privileged families in the Alimosho community. The outreach will take place on 20 December 2026. Through the generosity of individuals, corporate organisations, community partners and other well-wishers, we aim to make the season brighter for people who may find it difficult to meet basic needs during this period.
2. Background and Rationale
Christmas is a season associated with love, generosity and giving. However, for many vulnerable households, the additional costs of food and other essential items can make the season especially challenging. Project 150 Smiles responds to this need by bringing community members and partners together to provide practical assistance and create a memorable Christmas experience for children. Alimosho is the community in which Grace Evangel Mission is based. We believe that meaningful community support begins by recognising and responding to needs within our immediate environment. By reaching out to children and families, the project seeks to promote compassion, dignity, unity and a stronger spirit of community.
3. Project Goal and Beneficiaries
The goal of Project 150 Smiles is to bring hope and Christmas joy to vulnerable children and families in the Alimosho community. In total, the project aims to reach 150 direct beneficiaries: 100 children and at least 50 less-privileged families. 100 CHILDREN.

4. Planned Activities and Support
Funds and donated items will support the following activities and needs:
Meals and refreshments for participating children, Christmas gifts and essential items for children, food packages for at least 50 less-privileged families, games and recreational activities to create a joyful experience for the children
5. Fundraising Target
TOTAL FUNDRAISING TARGET: N3,000,000
We are seeking financial contributions and in-kind donations from individuals, businesses, corporate organisations, community groups and other partners. Contributions may include cash donations, food items, drinks, clothing and other useful supplies. Every contribution, regardless of size, will help us move closer to our target and extend support to the children and families the project is intended to reach.
