Creating a crowdfunding campaign on NaijaFund is free and to contribute to a campaign is also free. When your campaign raises funds, NaijaFund charges a 10% fee on the funds you raise which covers the cost of maintaining the platform and the third-party payment processor Paystack, charges a further transaction fee of 1.5% + NGN100 on payments made by local Nigerian bank cards. Payments made by foreign cards are charged a 3.9% + NGN100 per transaction fee. International Transactions with USD Settlement into your GTB domiciliary account is charged a 3.9% fee.
Donations to crowdfunding campaigns are processed within 24 hours and sent to your bank on the next working day if it is above the NGN100 threshold, but it could take up to 7 working days for your bank to credit your bank account with the received funds. For donations less than N100, transfers will not be made automatically until your total donations cross the NGN100 threshold.
