I am seeking support for my soon to be launched charity aimed at providing free nutritious meals to children from low income families. Children attending state primary schools will be provided with free meals at lunchtime in their various schools. We will need to set up a commercial kitchen, hire cooks, buy foodstuff, buy eating utensils, pay utilities and hire vans that will transport the cooked meals to the various schools. We will start in Edo state and work with headmasters and headmistresses of the schools. Local government officials will also be invited to get involved to help us draw a map on reaching children that fall through the cracks either because they are too young to start school or if they are of school age but are unable to attend for whatever personal reasons. So I enjoin everyone who loves kids to put a smile on the faces of deprived kids by filling their stomachs.
