Wamulu International (WI)http://About Us (wordpress.com) is a Kenya-registered voluntary non-profit organisation based in the southern region of Bungoma, Western Province of Kenya. WI was established and registered on October 2, 1997. The mission is to reduce poverty, disasters, and suffering of children, women and other vulnerable groups/individuals and families in the community and, in turn, to ensure a long-term improvement in the quality of life. The organization aims to do this by increasing income from agriculture, and philanthropy and by using the potential of volunteers. We implement market-oriented technologies and methods to improve productivity and green and sustainable technologies. We encourage families in Kenya by offering self-employment opportunities to the poor through farming, savings and credit.
