1. Greetings, friends and supporters! As my birthday approaches, I’ve been reflecting on a meaningful way to celebrate this special day. My recent experience when my mom was hospitalised opened my eyes to the struggles faced by vulnerable patients who lack essential resources for recovery.

In the hospital, I witnessed firsthand the challenges some patients endure, particularly those without a support system. Many find themselves stranded, unable to cover the costs of post-treatment care or even discharge from the hospital.

This realization inspired me to use my next birthday as an opportunity to make a difference. Instead of traditional gifts, I’m launching a GoFundMe campaign called “The Healing Hands” to provide support to those in need. Together, we can extend a helping hand to patients facing financial barriers to their recovery.

The goals include (1) Post-Treatment Care: Ensure patients have the necessary resources for a smooth transition from hospital to home, including medications, medical supplies, and follow-up appointments.

1. Discharge Assistance: Help cover the costs associated with leaving the hospital, such as transportation, temporary housing for those from out of town, and any outstanding bills.
