Nigeria has a young and ambitious population, and technology continues to create opportunities in areas such as software development, data, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital entrepreneurship.

But having the desire to learn technology isn’t enough.

Many young people lack access to computers, reliable infrastructure, experienced instructors, affordable practical training, and an environment where they can actually build the skills they need.

TeensCanCode exists to help bridge that gap.

We are an existing technology education hub committed to helping young people and aspiring professionals acquire practical, career-focused technology skills.

Our current training areas include:

• Mobile App Development
• Data Analysis
• Cybersecurity

Our goal is not simply to teach students theory.

We want our students to learn, practice, build real projects, develop portfolios, and gain the confidence to pursue opportunities in technology.

WHY WE ARE RAISING ₦20 MILLION

TeensCanCode already has a physical hub and the basic foundation needed to operate.

We have:

✅ A physical training facility

✅ Classroom furniture

✅ Power through public electricity and a generator

✅ Fiber internet

✅ A team of staff and instructors

However, we currently face a major limitation:

We only have two computers for a classroom designed to accommodate approximately ten students.

This makes it difficult to provide the practical, hands-on learning experience that technology education requires.

We also need to strengthen our facility, marketing, staffing, student support, and operational capacity.

That’s why we’re launching the:

TEENSCANCODE DIGITAL SKILLS EXPANSION CAMPAIGN

Our goal is to raise:

to transform our existing hub into a better-equipped, sustainable technology education and innovation center.

WHAT YOUR DONATION WILL HELP US ACHIEVE

💻 1. Equip the Technology Hub

We plan to acquire additional computers and essential technology equipment so that students can participate meaningfully in practical classes.

The funding will support:

• Computers
• Monitors
• UPS/power protection
• Networking equipment
• Routers and switches
• Computer accessories
• Projector/display equipment
• Storage devices
• Development/testing equipment
• Other essential learning technology

Our goal is to move toward a classroom where students have adequate access to computers during practical sessions.

We want students to learn in an environment that is professional, comfortable and inspiring.

Funding will help us improve:

• Classroom appearance
• Painting
• Lighting
• Electrical infrastructure
• Cable management
• Branding
• Signage
• Reception area

• General facility improvements

We aren’t trying to build a luxury facility.

We want to create a clean, functional and professional technology learning environment.

👨‍🏫 3. Strengthen Our Staff & Operations

Good technology education requires good instructors and a reliable operating system.

Part of the funding will help us maintain essential operations while we build our student base.

This includes:

• Staff support
• Instructor compensation
• Internet
• Utilities
• Maintenance
• Training materials
• Essential software
• Administrative operations

Our current fiber internet costs approximately ₦27,000 per month, while our annual rent is approximately ₦2.5 million.

The funding will provide the breathing room required to build the organization sustainably rather than growing too quickly and struggling with cash flow.

A well-equipped training center isn’t useful if people don’t know it exists.

We will invest in a structured student acquisition and marketing strategy.

We believe financial limitations shouldn’t completely prevent a talented young person from learning technology.

This initiative will provide subsidized or sponsored training opportunities for selected students who demonstrate need, commitment, and potential.

Our initial goal is to create opportunities for approximately:

20 scholarship students

within the first year, depending on the amount raised and actual course costs.
