Survival

My name is Ndubuisi Ekwuno, and I’m reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart.SpicyTails Kitchen Services (CAC BN: 9378713) began as my biggest dream — creating bowls of hot, soul-comforting Pepper Soup and authentic spicy Nigerian meals that bring families together and put smiles on faces. From our small kitchen at 1, Ade-Ojo Street, Alimosho, Lagos, I’ve poured my all into every order. But the demand is now far greater than my current capacity. It breaks my heart to turn customers away. I urgently need to expand the kitchen, upgrade equipment, and hire more hands so I can serve more people and create jobs. Please support me. Every contribution will help keep this dream alive and the fire burning strong.Thank you. God bless you.Ndubuisi Ekwuno

Description

My name is Ndubuisi Ekwuno, founder of SpicyTails Kitchen Services. Three years ago, I lost my job during the economic crunch. Like many Nigerians, I watched my savings disappear while food prices kept climbing. But in the middle of that struggle, something beautiful happened in my small kitchen in Lagos. I started cooking the kind of meals that remind people of home — bold, spicy, comforting Nigerian dishes made with love and the freshest ingredients. Friends who tasted my peppered goat meat, Banga soup, loaded jollof, and signature spicy chicken tails kept saying the same thing: “This is not ordinary food. This is restaurant quality from a home kitchen!” That feedback became the spark. Today, SpicyTails Kitchen Services is duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as a Business Name with Registration Number: 9378713. We are officially positioned to move from cooking small orders for friends and colleagues to full-scale catering and food services. We are ready to serve busy professionals, corporate offices, events, and families who crave authentic, hygienic, and delicious Nigerian meals delivered hot or prepared on-site. But here’s the truth: I cannot do it alone. To establish the business properly and take it to the next level, we need ₦8.7 million to:

  • Set up a standard commercial kitchen with proper equipment
  • Acquire reliable delivery motorcycles and quality packaging materials
  • Hire and train 6 young Nigerians (mostly youth and women)
  • Complete necessary certifications and compliance
  • Build initial inventory and marketing to reach more customers

This is more than just starting a business. This is about proving that even in tough times, young Nigerians can create jobs, reduce hunger, and serve our culture through excellent food. Every naira contributed will go directly into building something that feeds families, employs people, and puts smiles on the faces of customers who say “This taste like home.” I’m not asking for a handout. I’m inviting you to be part of a story that is already growing. Many of you have tasted our food. Many have asked when we will go bigger. This is that moment. If SpicyTails has ever blessed your belly or made your event memorable, this is your chance to help us grow and employ others. Together, let’s turn one small kitchen into a thriving Nigerian brand. Would you support us with any amount? Your contribution, no matter how small, will move us closer to launching officially. Share this story. Send it to someone who loves good food. Let’s build SpicyTails together. Thank you. God bless you.
