Our Story
My name is OyekunleJohnsonOpeyemi, and in September 2019, during the COVID-19 era, I started a small school in a rural area of Ikorodu, Lagos. What inspired me was the poor educational system in the community and the fact that many less privileged children could not afford to attend the big schools around.

Although I could not make the school completely free — because I needed to pay teachers, rent a space, and provide chairs, boards, and tables — I made the school fees very cheap and affordable so that poor families could still give their children a chance at quality education.

Today, our school has qualified graduate teachers, including myself, who are passionate about giving these children the future they deserve.

The Challenge
Right now, our school is struggling.
– The rent we pay for the building is draining our resources.
– Our facilities (chairs, tables, fans, and play materials) are old and inadequate.
– We want to raise the standard of the school without increasing fees, because our mission is to remain affordable for the poor.

Currently, our fees are:
– JSS 1–3: ₦22,500 per term
– SSS 1–3: ₦25,500 per term

These fees barely cover costs, and raising them would shut out the very children we want to help.

Our Vision
With your support, we want to:
– Buy land and build a modest but permanent school structure.
– Provide standard chairs, tables, and fans to make classrooms comfortable.
– Create a conducive learning environment with play materials for the students.
– Secure the future of affordable education for children in Ikorodu.

Our Goal
We are seeking to raise ₦30,000,000 (about $30,000–35,000 USD). This will allow us to:
– Acquire land
– Build a modest school facility
– Furnish classrooms with proper equipment
– Reduce the burden of rent and ensure sustainability
