Campaign Story

  1. 86Support Osas Foundation Care (OFC): Help Us Keep Showing Up for Our Communities Today, we’re inviting you to stand with Osas Foundation Care (OFC) through our crowdfunding campaign as we strengthen our work across Lagos for the rest of the year. Goal: ₦10,000,000 OFC is a community-led nonprofit committed to promoting care, dignity, equality, safety, and wellbeing for vulnerable youth and underserved communities in Lagos, Nigeria. We believe everyone deserves access to accurate information, compassionate support, and safe pathways to help — regardless of their circumstances. Why This Support Matters Needs don’t arrive in one category. Sometimes a young person needs reliable health information instead of misinformation. Sometimes someone needs mental wellbeing support, a safe conversation, or help finding the right service. Sometimes communities need stronger awareness of rights, dignity, and respectful, non-discriminatory care. And sometimes what’s needed is practical support — transportation, communication, follow-up, educational materials, or help navigating trusted medical, psychosocial, and legal referral pathways. Your contribution gives OFC the flexibility to respond where the need is most urgent. Where Your Support Goes Funds raised through this campaign will help cover essential programme and operational costs, including educational materials and printing, community outreach and transportation, communication and follow-up, safeguarding and case-support tools, volunteer coordination, referral navigation and community engagement, emergency assistance where appropriate, and planning and preparation for future outreach. One of the activities we are currently working toward is our first outreach in Makoko, following a survey and listening visit. We want to approach this responsibly — with proper planning, safeguarding, community engagement, and the resources required to provide meaningful support with dignity. We Protect the People We Serve OFC operates with a privacy-first, do-no-harm approach. We do not expose beneficiaries or publish sensitive personal information for fundraising purposes. We prioritise safety and dignity, and we share impact through appropriate anonymised updates. We also maintain records and track campaign spending so supporters can understand how their contributions are helping, without putting anyone at risk. Every Contribution Counts You don’t have to make a huge donation to make a difference. A small contribution can support educational materials. Another can help cover transport for outreach. Another can support communication, follow-up, or the practical tools needed to connect someone with appropriate services. If you can donate, please do. If you cannot donate, please share this campaign with at least three people who believe in dignity, equality, community care, and safer pathways to wellbeing. Your share could reach the person who is able to make the donation that helps us reach our goal. Thank you for believing in the work of Osas Foundation Care. Every contribution helps us keep showing up — with dignity, consistency, and real impact. Learn more: https://www.osasfoundationcare.org
