The SAT (Scholastic Amplitude Test) is a standardized test widely used in the United States for college and university admissions and the ISAT (International Student Admissions Test) is a computer-based exam developed by the Australian Council for Education Research (ACER) to access critical and quantitative reasoning skills of international students applying to certain high stake university courses particularly in medicine, pharmacy, and other health related fields in Australia. The United States has issued a law, in order to get admitted you have to take the SAT and the ISAT is also a requirement to study medicine in Australia. SAT and ISAT: Standardized Tests in Education. The SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) and ISAT (International Student Admissions Test) are two standardized tests used in the United States and Australia respectively, to assess student performance. Both tests aim to evaluate student performance and provide insights into academic strengths and weaknesses. While the SAT is a college entrance exam, the ISAT (formerly) focused on measuring student progress toward state standards
