Growing up, I never imagined that my love for creating things with my hands would lead me to become an entrepreneur. However, here I am, with a thriving business and a passion for positively impacting the fashion industry. In 2022, my team and I were able to launch new designs and improve our products. But we want to do more. We want to address the issue of waste in the fashion industry, and we have a unique idea that we believe can make a difference. Recently, we were thrilled to be selected as semi-finalists in the “Redesigning Fashion” competition, which will take place in Nairobi from June 1-4, 2023. This is an incredible opportunity for us to showcase our idea on a global platform and compete with teams from different countries. However, we need your help. As a team of five, we are required to foot our bills from flight tickets to accommodation, feeding, and more, which sums up to 4.2 million naira.
