Campaign Story

Dear Angel,
I am reaching out with a heavy heart to appeal for help during a time of deep financial and emotional hardship. Since 2020, following the painful end of my marriage and years of unsustainable financial pressure, I have fallen into a worsening cycle of debt.

Despite working full-time in public service, my entire salary is tied up in debt repayments. In desperation to survive, I took additional loans, including from online platforms charging up to 50% interest  just to meet basic needs and repay old debts. The situation has since spiraled out of control.

I am currently burdened with:

₦7 million loan from a bank salary account

₦2.5 million from microfinance banks

₦8 million in online loan app debts

₦700,000 borrowed from individuals

I have sold my car, land, and household items to survive. Friends and colleagues have helped where they could, but the debts keep growing. With retirement approaching in four years, I am deeply afraid of what the future holds.

This appeal is made with sincerity, after exhausting every option. With your kind support, I hope to clear these debts and begin a fresh chapter with dignity, peace, and the ability to start a new  life.
