My Daughter (Oluwajobi Mercy) was diagnosed with severe Disease of the bone (Chronic Osteomyelitis) in the year 2023, when she was 2 years and months old. On recommendation of doctors at National Orthopedic Hospital Igbobi, Lagos – Nigeria, she underwent first stage surgery on Monday 19th August, 2024, where the diseased bone was removed. According to the medical report, she urgently requires a second surgery to join the fragmented bones of the left femur. The Doctors have estimated the cost to be Two Million, Three Hundred and Sixteen Thousand, Three Hundred and Five Naira, Eighty – Eight Kobo Only (#2,316,305.88). After this second Stage Surgery, we were told by the doctors that she will still needs the third stage surgery to lengthening the bone after healing of the second stage surgery.
