Campaign Story

My name is Olamidayo Oladapo, I’m a 24-year-old graduate of Human Anatomy from University of Ilorin and a corps member serving in PHALGA, Rivers State, Nigeria.
While being a corps member serving in Rivers State, I’ve been exposed to the underprivileged living conditions of students in my community. Oroworuwko secondary School is one of the schools that doesnt have a standard library for their students, its a school to over 1,500 students, Because of the  high number of students in each classroom, most students are subjected to sit on the floor to read their books, they desire a convenient space where they are comfortable to read and concentration better.  For a while now, I’ve written to and visited corporate organisations, non-governmental organisations, religious organisations and other Humanitarian organisations but I’ve been unable to gather the adequate support essential towards the execution of this project. Consequently , I decided to create this fundraising scheme with the hopes that people with compassion for humanity would support me in achieving this goal.
The estimated cost of establishing a standard school library is 300,000.  I therefore appeal to everyone reading this to join me in being an agent of change and bringing a new dawn to the lives of more than 1,000 students in Oroworuwko Secondary School in Rivers State.
