My name is Ogochukwu Lazarus and I am writing to humbly seek your support during a deeply challenging time in my life. For five years, I have worked as a bus driver, providing reliable transportation services to my community while supporting my family. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I have been out of work for the past three months, and my family’s financial stability is now at risk.

The engine of my bus failed irreparably, and I could not afford the cost of a replacement. With no income to sustain repairs or payments, I was forced to sell the vehicle as scrap. This loss has left me without a livelihood, and I am struggling to provide basic necessities for my family, including food, shelter, and medicare for my retired aging parents.
