Oluwapelumi Adejumo is a 400-level student of Economics Adekunle Ajasin university, Ondo state, she is currently writing her project. Pelumi was diagnosed with appendicitis and was scheduled for a surgery. Shortly after the surgery, it was discovered that feces started coming out of the area where she was opened for the surgery and the place has refused heal up.
Pelumi had been placed on several strong antibiotics and now, she has been referred to LASUTH (emergency surgery unit) where a correctional surgery has been recommended as quickly as possible to avoid the situation degenerating into cancer.
The hospital has billed the sum of one million naira for the surgery and an excess of five hundred thousand naira for miscellaneous.
We are calling on good Samaritans to assist in saving Pelumi’s life, her parents have already cleared out their savings on this ailment.
