Across the states of Abuja, Nassarawa, Ebonyi, Anambra, Benue, and Kano, 17 children are in urgent need of your support. Their numbers are bound to increase as we discover more of them in other states across Nigeria. For the first phase of reaching out to these children, we have visited those in Nasarawa and Abuja, and we have been able to provide emotional support, documented their needs, and listened to their caregivers – many of whom are barely getting by. The second phase is to reach out to the others in other states and support them. These children are bright, hopeful, and full of promise, but the circumstances surrounding their parents’ incarceration threaten to silence their dreams. We are launching this crowdfunding appeal to raise ₦500,000 (Five hundred thousand naira) to visit and provide essentials that will help these children live, learn, and grow safely. From visiting and assessing the needs of children outside Abuja and Nasarawa, to basic food supplies to school essentials, every contribution will directly impact a life.
