Pad the girl child

This campaign is held every year in secondary schools across west Africa,  we are pleading on behalf of our female children, we need contributors and donors to come to our aid at this moment.

We are raising funds to help procure pads and other sanitary materials for a good female hygiene.

Let’s start with; Many teenage girls do not have the money to procure this pads due to the high rate of financial instability across the country. Some girls sees their period as a disgrace and abnormality because they do not have anyone to guide them while they undergo this puberty. 

I have heard of some stories of female children who skip schools throughout their menstrual cycle,

Why? Because they do not have the pads that they can put on, while on their periods. Many girls out there have a poor menstrual hygiene.

I have seen in some cases where girls says they use pieces of rags and clothes in place of pads to cover up…and damn this is so uncomfortable not to talk less of the issue of using tissue papers which is very very bad, and can lead to some kind of misconceptional cases in the future, of course this tissue can get stuck and also the chemicals use in making them can be very sensitive to the vagina.

Menstruation and the pms symptoms that comes with it can make alot of girls feel vulnerable especially if she doesn’t have any one to offer her help.

As a woman we need to be strong to overcome all this .

                 This campaign is not only donating pads to the female child but  also educating them on menstrual hygiene. As a female they are things you should do and things you shouldn’t do to your vagina, like example; You shouldn’t wash your vagina with a soap or any chemicals, rather, you should wash them with clean water only. Yes, the vagina washes itself, it does not need your soap.

Ok, back to where I was,  we are pleading on behalf of the female child, we are asking that you be a part of this wonderful project, it will help a lot, lot of people will benefit from it …and we really appreciate our contributors and donors for making this project a success last year, May God bless you all abundantly.

         This project will be launching on June we will be moving across all government secondary schools in west Africa and some selected private secondary schools. We want to drastically increase good menstrual hygiene in Africa. We will be distributing one pack of pad to each female students and we will also lecture them on puberty and menstrual hygiene, no girl will be left behind.

              Please, help make this a success by supporting us, nothing is too small, any little thing can go a long way in helping this children, we need your support to make this project happen.
