Short Story
The intervention programme seeks to impact over 10,000 beneficiaries in each State in the South East Geopolitical Zone who are in dire need of medical intervention, food palliatives and spans through orphaned children, widows, aged and persons with disability. Medical Outreach programs are an important tool for building relationships and engaging with audiences. The benefits of having a successful outreach program include increased brand recognition, improved public service and a better public relation.
These intervention programmes are focused on making a positive impact on vulnerable communities by including certain activities to provide awareness and referrals for long term treatments.
Never has the mantra of “Leave no one Behind” been more critical to implement the Sustainable Development Goals Agenda 2030. It will help to implement “Goal 3” of the Sustainable Development Goals Agenda which intends to ‘ensure healthy lives and promotion of well-being for all ages.’ Understanding the changing needs of the populace means asking, listening and participatory approach at the grassroot level. The Goal of the funding is to identify and provide specific Ndigbo free medical services and non perishable food palliatives to the poorest of the poor who are unable to afford medical care.
