❤️ HELP US SAVE OUR MOTHER’S LIFE: URGENT BREAST CANCER TREATMENT APPEAL
We are humbly reaching out to family, friends, kind-hearted individuals, churches, organizations and compassionate people around the world to help us raise funds for the treatment of our beloved mother, who is currently battling breast cancer.
Our mother is a woman who has spent her life caring for and supporting her family. Today, she is the one who needs our support.
HER JOURNEY
Several months ago, she discovered a lump in her left breast. Initially, we hoped it would be something less serious. However, the lump continued to grow and became swollen and painful.
She underwent medical investigations, including a mammogram and biopsy. Sadly, the biopsy confirmed that she has breast cancer.
Further testing of the cancer showed that she is:
- Estrogen Receptor (ER) positive
- Progesterone Receptor (PR) positive
- HER2 positive
This means her cancer requires a combination of treatments targeting the cancer from different directions. Her oncology team has therefore recommended a treatment plan involving chemotherapy and HER2-targeted therapy.
💊 HER RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
Her oncologist has prescribed a treatment plan that includes Phesgo (pertuzumab and trastuzumab), a targeted treatment used for HER2-positive breast cancer, together with Docetaxel chemotherapy.
The written treatment estimate includes:
Phesgo loading dose: approximately ₦2.10 million
Phesgo maintenance treatment: approximately ₦25.98 million for the 17 maintenance doses listed by the oncologist.
Docetaxel chemotherapy:
₦150,000 × 8 cycles = ₦1.2 million
Filgrastim:
₦30,000 × 8 cycles = ₦240,000
The cost of these listed treatments alone comes to approximately:
₦29.5 MILLION
This does not include all the other expenses that come with cancer treatment, including medical consultations, laboratory tests, scans, hospital charges, supportive medications, transportation and the management of any treatment-related complications.

As a family, we are doing everything we can to make sure our mother gets the treatment recommended by her doctors. But the financial burden is far beyond what we can carry alone.

Our greatest desire is simply to give our mother the opportunity to receive the treatment her oncology team has recommended.
She is more than her diagnosis. She is a mother, grandmother, wife, sister and a beloved member of our family. Her life means so much to us.
We believe that when people come together, seemingly impossible burdens can become bearable.
