The Igala people are a proud and resilient nation with a rich cultural heritage and a remarkable history. Yet, many of our communities continue to face a significant challenge: the lack of a reliable platform through which information, education, opportunities, and community voices can be shared. For many of our people, especially those in rural communities, access to timely information remains limited. Important messages about health, education, agriculture, security, employment, and community development often fail to reach those who need them most. A people without access to information are disadvantaged, and a people without a voice struggle to be heard. This is why the INIKPI RADIO PROJECT, led by UKOMU IGALA ORGANISATION WORLDWIDE, is not merely a media initiative. It is a necessity. It is an investment in the future of the Igala Nation. We are pleased to share that significant progress has already been made. We have: ✅ Secured five plots of land opposite the Army Base in Anyigba for the project. ✅ Obtained the required broadcasting licence and regulatory approvals. ✅ Completed the necessary registration processes and secured permission to broadcast. ✅ Raised ₦50 million towards the project. However, to fully establish and equip the station, construct the facilities, install modern broadcasting equipment, and commence operations, we require a total of ₦350 million. This means we still need to raise ₦300 million. Today, we are reaching out to you.
