My name is Okokon Wesley Oku, I leave and work in Abuja.

I lost my wife to Cavernoma on the 26th of June, 2025 at the ICU unit of Federal medical CENTER Abuja after spending more than 2 months there. Her Hospital number is 404639, and her name is Chukwu Joy Uchenna.  You can run a check to confirm.

When my wife took in, she was fine at first. During the 8th month of the pregnancy, she started bleeding. I rushed her to the hospital and the situation was managed. She was placed on bed rest. We observed this for 2 weeks then she bled the second time. This time, we were advised to do an emergency CS to save both my wife and baby. We did and they were fine.

We were discharged and we went home. After about a month, on the 4th of May, she had a seizure and I rushed her back to the hospital.  This time, it was very serious. After a whole lot of checks, they asked us to run an MRI Scan that was when we discovered she had Cavernoma.

We then took her to FMC Abuja to manage the situation and we did brain surgery on her that same day.

She came out of surgery and recovered after about 2weeks. We were discharged to the ward. She was in the surgical ward for 11 days and had another seizure again and was rushed back to the ICU. This time, she stayed at the ICU till she died.

All this while, I was paying for the ICU Bill’s and buying all the medications they asked of. I borrowed money, emptied our savings, collected money from friends and family and spent more than 6million during this period.  When she died, the bill she incurred was 5.350million and the hospital wont release her body unless I clear the bill and I don’t have that kind of money. I even sold all the valuables we had and borrowed money so that I wont loose my wife. Now, I don’t have where to run to. I’m owing money that I’m paying with my little salary and I’ve ran out of help.

The only option I have now is to run to you guys for help. Please help me so I can settle this hospital and bury my wife.
