Campaign Story

Hope Alive Yes We Can” – Fuel 5 Micro-Ventures & Ignite Hope Across Nigeria! Fuel 5 Micro-Ventures. Ignite Hope. Build Nigeria. Across our nation, countless young innovators have powerful ideas — but lack the little spark of capital to bring them to life. Hope Alive Yes We Can isn’t just a book; it’s a movement — a mission to equip 5 grassroots entrepreneurs (our Hope Fellows) with micro-grants, mentorship, and a platform to rise.

👋 Meet the Visionary Behind the Campaign©

Hello, Naija family and friends around the world! I’m Fame Agidife, author of Hope Alive Yes We Can and a Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) consultant who understands the struggles of starting and sustaining a business in Nigeria’s dynamic economy. This campaign brings the spirit of my book to life — turning words into work, and hope into empowerment.

🌍 What This Campaign Will Do

We’re launching the first cohort of 5 Hope Fellows — passionate young innovators from underserved communities. These are not dreamers; they’re doers with proven small ventures that can scale with your help.

👩🏽‍💼 Meet Our Hope Fellows-in-the-Making

  • Ada – Lagos: Designing affordable solar lanterns for off-grid homes.
  • Uche – Enugu: Developing eco-friendly pest control for smallholder farmers.
  • Blessing – Kogi: Turning groundnuts into nutritious protein powder for infant foods and household needs — promoting local agro-processing and healthy living.
  • Tunde – Ibadan: Training women in digital freelancing and online income generation.
  • Maryam – Kano: Building a mini tailoring collective to empower rural youth and women through fashion enterprise.

Each selected Fellow will receive a ₦150,000 micro-grant6 months of structured mentorship, and access to our growing Hope Network of business and tech experts.

📅 Project Timeline

  • Nov–Dec 2025: Campaign live on NaijaFund
  • Jan–Feb 2026: Hope Fellows selection & orientation (via open application)
  • March 2026: Hope Alive Yes We Can book launch & fellowship kickoff (hybrid event in Lagos)
  • April–Sept 2026: Mentorship, impact tracking & progress reports

Selection Transparency: Fellows will be vetted by an independent 3-person advisory panel of business and community leaders. Results will be announced publicly.

🎯 Campaign Goal: ₦1,600,000

(We’ll keep every kobo raised. If we exceed the goal, extra funds will support additional Fellows or wider book distribution.)

Category Amount Purpose & Impact
Micro-Grants (₦150K × 5 Fellows) ₦750,000 Direct seed support to scale 5 community ventures
Book Printing & Distribution (500 copies) ₦500,000 Free distribution to schools, libraries & NGOs
Launch Event & Media Promotion ₦250,000 Hybrid launch in Lagos + social media outreach
Platform Fees & Logistics ₦100,000 NaijaFund & bank charges + admin costs
TOTAL GOAL ₦1,600,000

Stretch Goal: Every extra ₦150,000 raised adds one more Hope Fellow to the program!

💪 Why Now?

In 2025, with rising costs and limited opportunities, many young Nigerians are losing faith in possibility. This initiative merges inspiration + action — using the Hope Alive Yes We Can book to fund real transformation. Imagine: A Hope Fellow scaling a waste-recycling venture that employs five people, or another using her grant to train 20 women in digital skills. That’s the ripple effect we’re building — and you can be part of it.
