Campaign Story

Yakubu Shehu Baba, a student living with sickle cell disease. Recently, doctors confirmed that I urgently need a hip replacement surgery on my left leg due to complications from sickle cell.

The surgery costs ₦3.5 million, and my family cannot afford it at this time. I have been in and out of the hospital due to severe pain, but I’m determined to recover, continue my education, and live a healthy life.

I am kindly appealing to everyone for support towards my treatment. No amount is too small — your help can ease my pain and give me a chance to walk and live without suffering.
