Short Story
My name is Enitan A’Azeez and I am the Founder of Aligo Energies Ltd.
For years, we’ve been building a project born from passion, sacrifice and a deep belief in Nigeria’s agricultural potential, the Aligo Energies Cassava Refinery Complex designed to support rural farmers, create jobs and produce essential cassava-based industrial products.
Today, we are about 80% completed standing at the edge of a breakthrough that could transform an entire community.
But right now, we need help to finish what we’ve started.
🌾 WHY THIS PROJECT MATTERS
Nigeria has millions of hardworking cassava farmers who struggle because:
– Prices are unstable
– Buyers are unreliable
– Their harvests often waste
– Opportunities for growth are limited
The Aligo Energies Refinery provides a lifeline by:
– Buying cassava directly from local farmers
– Processing them into key derivatives
– Creating long-term, sustainable jobs
– Building a supply chain that supports hundreds of families
– Strengthening Nigeria’s agro-industrial future.
This project is not charity. It’s an engine for community development and long-term economic empowerment.
🔧 HOW FAR WE’VE COME
– Construction: 80% complete
– Over ₦65 million invested from personal funds
– BOI financing plan in place to carry the project into full operation once this Phase 1 Building is finished
– Equipment layout and business documentation fully prepared
– Local farmers already enrolled and ready for supply partnerships
We have carried this project on our shoulders for years through inflation, rising costs and countless setbacks and we are almost at the finish line.
🆘 WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP
Unexpected increases in material and labour costs slowed us down. We are now short of the final funds needed to:
– Complete the remaining 20% of construction
– Prepare for BOI’s final approval and disbursement
– Prevent delay that could risk earlier investments
– Secure the jobs and opportunities already created
We are simply too close to give up but too strained to finish alone.
💚💛 WHAT YOUR DONATION WILL DO
Your support will directly help us:
– Finish the final construction work
– Install the remaining infrastructure
– Prepare the site for industrial financing
– Empower local farmers with a stable buyer
– Create sustainable jobs for youth and families
– Build a refinery that will benefit the community for decade
Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings us closer.
