We are reaching out with an urgent plea to support our beloved mother, Dr. Ejiroghene Joy Onofurho, a single mother of four and a devoted humanitarian, who is currently battling Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, a severe form of breast cancer.

She recently underwent a mastectomy to stop the cancer from spreading, but this is only the beginning of a long and painful journey. She now needs 24 weeks of chemotherapy to survive. Each session costs ₦400,000 (approx. $280 USD), with eight sessions remaining. The total cost of treatment including radiotherapy and hospital admissions is ₦12,000,000 (about $8000 USD), which our family cannot afford alone.

What makes this battle even harder is that she’s also managing multiple serious health conditions—asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, ulcer, and osteoarthritis—making her treatment both urgent and extremely difficult.

Dr. Ejiroghene has spent the past two decades dedicating her life to serving others. Through her NGO, The Virtuous Touch International Initiative, she has impacted the lives of over 500 widows and underprivileged women since 2002. She has always been a source of strength and support to others—now she needs us.
