I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and an urgent request for help. My mother’s kitchen and room have rapidly deteriorated due to years of neglect and worsening conditions. The rainy season has only intensified the damage, making it unsafe and uninhabitable. I am raising funds to help rebuild and repair these essential parts of our home, providing her with a safe and comfortable living space.

My mother’s kitchen and room are in a critical state. The roof is leaking, causing water damage to the walls (mud wall), the woods on the roof and floors. There are cracks in the walls, the ceiling noggin is been supported by woods which have made the roof not to have falling off already and the kitchen is practically unusable. The poor condition of her living space is affecting her daily life and, most importantly, her health and safety. The heavy rainfall we’ve been experiencing has only made things worse, and I’m deeply worried about further deterioration if we don’t act quickly. I find it difficult travelling home because seeing the state of things at home is affecting me and my current income is not even taking care of our basic needs and her health needs.

Unfortunately, I do not have the financial means to cover the cost of repairs myself. I am doing my best to support my family, but the costs of reconstruction are far beyond what I can afford. I am asking for your help to raise funds for the materials, labor, and necessary repairs so that my mother can live in a safe, dry, and comfortable home. Your donation will go directly toward purchasing the necessary materials, such as roofing, cement, wood, paint, and other essentials, as well as paying for the skilled labor needed to carry out the repairs, and if there are remaining funds, I can channel it to her health situation where she needs to go on surgery due to her navel hernia condition which require about Seven Hundred Thousand Naira (N700,000.00) to carry out.

Your support will make a life-changing difference for my mother. With your help, we will be able to:

• Replace the damaged roofing and fix leaks

• Repair the walls and flooring

• Redo the plumbing and electrical work where needed

• Paint and restore the kitchen and room to a habitable condition

• Possibly restore her health and wellbeing.

These repairs will provide my mother with a safe and secure home, especially during the rainy season when the damage is most severe. It will also give her peace of mind, knowing that she is living in a healthy and protected environment, helping her mental health greatly.

This is not just about fixing a room; it’s about ensuring my mother’s well-being and quality of life. She has given so much to our family, and it’s time for us to give back. This project is not only urgent but also very close to my heart. I want to provide her with the comfort she deserves in her later years, and this is something I cannot do alone.

I am aiming to raise Two to Three Million Naira (N2m to N3m) to cover all the necessary repairs, reconstruction and further move to ensuring she undergo a Surgery for the Navel Hernia Condition. Every little contribution counts and will bring us one step closer to ensuring my mother has a safe and habitable home and health.
