Campaign Story

• My name is Amb Uduot Ekpouko, and I am humbly reaching out for help to support my mother, who has been suffering from a severe stroke for the past three years. Her condition has left her unable to move freely, unable to care for herself, and completely dependent on me for survival.

For the past three years, I have been the only caregiver responsible for her feeding, medication, physiotherapy, hygiene, and daily support. I have done everything within my ability, but the financial burden has become overwhelming. I have exhausted my savings, sold my belongings, borrowed money, and pushed myself beyond my mental and physical strength.

Today, the reality is painful:

My mother still needs daily medication

She needs proper feeding and supplements

She needs physiotherapy sessions

She needs adult care supplies

And most days, we struggle just to afford her basic needs

Watching her struggle—sometimes going hungry, crying in pain, unable to move or talk properly—has broken me emotionally. It has pushed me into depression and left me financially stranded. But I refuse to give up on her. I believe she still has a chance to live, to recover, and to smile again.

This is why I am appealing for your help.

*Adult diapers, sanitary care, and hygiene supplies

*Healthy food, fruits, and supplements she needs
