Campaign Story

I am seeking for help! I was lucky to have my daughter school in the same school I work, here in Nigeria. We go out daily together as early as 5:00am to beat traffic or hold-up. A child of 2 years old (at the time she started school, now she is 4 years old in Nursery 2) to wake up so early and come home late is painful to me. But because I have no car of my own, I have no choice. Even when she close by 1:30pm, she must hang around with me till 3:30pm for me to close and then, together we will wait again for the taxi driver to come and take us home. Most of the times, he (the driver) comes by 5pm. We will get home by 6 to 7pm to wake up by 4:30am and start preparing. To worsen my fear, the driver is so reckless in driving, yet insists we stay at the front seat so he could carry passengers. If I complain, he threatens to stop carrying us and I don’t have another choice as he is the only driver among many that I consulted, who offered to  help us. Please help me. Where I reside in Abuja is a very rowdy environment with heavy traffic as early as 5:30am. Supposing I have a car, I could plan my leaving home through alternative route to beat the holdup and come back early for my daughter to rest. I am doing this for her.
