Hello, my name is [Hamza Adamu Aliyu], and I am a sickle cell warrior.   Due to complications from sickle cell disease, I am suffering from avascular necrosis of the femoral head – a condition that has destroyed the joint in my hip. The pain is unbearable and has left me unable to walk or live a normal life.   Doctors have advised that I urgently need total hip replacement surgery to relieve the pain and help me regain my mobility. The estimated cost for the surgery, including implants and recovery care, is ₦2.3 million to ₦3.5 million — an amount I cannot afford alone.   I am appealing to kind-hearted individuals for help.
