Hello everyone, I am Priscilla Ola, a 21-year-old girl is a known Hbss patient and a 200L student of Osun state University who is currently suffering from bilateral avascular necrosis (AVN) of head of femur with associated severe (abnormal growth of my spine, hips, and knees, causing excruciating pain) and stage bilateral hip joints osteoarthritis that necessitate total hip replacement (THR) bilaterally. I recently underwent a life-changing surgery on my left hip on November 24, 2023, but my journey is far from over. I need your support for the second phase, scheduled for December 13th, 2023, to replace my right hip. The first surgery has alleviated some of my pain, but to fully regain my life, I need to complete the treatment. The initial phase requires raising $4,000 USD (N4,500,000 Nairal) in which my family covered previous surgeries, the expenses depleted our resources. Insurance doesn’t cover this defect, leaving us in need of assistance for the upcoming surgery and your contributions will expedite my progress towards the ultimate goal of $7,000 USD (7,000,000 Naira) for the entire treatment.
