My name is Stella Nkechi Okonkwo, and I’m facing an urgent medical situation that I can no longer manage on my own.

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with retinal detachment in one of my eyes, and it has seriously affected my vision, daily life, and ability to work. The condition requires Vitrectomy surgery as soon as possible to prevent permanent vision loss.

I’ve reached out to top medical centres including Moorfields Eye Hospital in the UK, and I’ve been offered an appointment and a surgery estimate. The consultation and tests will cost around ₦1.2 million, and the surgery cost is about ₦19.3 million — making a total of ₦20+ million with travel, recovery, and basic needs.

I am already using all my personal and business savings to cover part of this journey, but after the surgery, I will be left with nothing to fall back on. That is why I am asking the public — kind people like you — for support.
