Campaign Story
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,
I am writing this with a heavy heart, but also with deep hope in the goodness of people. My name is Shamsu, and I recently faced a terrifying moment that has completely turned my daily routine upside down.
I was involved in a terrible accident with a car. By the grace of God, I miraculously escaped physical injury—I am alive, whole, and healthy. For that, I am endlessly grateful. However, my beloved motorcycle—my only reliable companion and the tool that keeps my life moving—was not as lucky. It suffered severe, critical damage and is now in urgent need of a complete overhaul.
Why this motorcycle means everything to me:
Many people might look at a motorcycle and see just a vehicle. For me, it is my lifeline. I work far away from home—63 kilometers away, to be exact. Every single day, I have to make a grueling 126-kilometer round trip just to earn a living and provide for my daily needs.
Since the accident, I have been relying on a kind colleague who gives me a ride. But I know how burdensome it is for him, and honestly, it breaks my heart to feel like a constant inconvenience. I hate depending on others when I am fully capable of working hard for myself. I just want to restore my independence, relieve my colleague of this burden, and get back to managing my own life.
How you can help:
To bring my motorcycle back to life, I need to raise $500 (USD) for spare parts and professional mechanical repairs. For some, this might seem like a small amount, but right now, it is a mountain I cannot climb on my own.
I am humbly knocking on your doors and appealing to your kind hearts. Any contribution—no matter how small—brings me one step closer to getting back on the road. If you cannot donate, please share my story or keep me in your prayers.
I truly believe that humanity is full of compassion, and with your help, I will ride again soon.
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, and may God bless you abundantly.
With gratitude, Shamsu
