Dear Friends and Kind Supporters,

 

My name is Gbolahan Oluwaseun, and I am reaching out for help as I navigate a series of life-altering challenges that have made it incredibly difficult for me to live a full and healthy life.

 

In 1986, I experienced a devastating accident that nearly took my life. While I survived, I was left with a crippled hand that has rendered it nearly useless, limiting my ability to perform daily tasks and work. A decade later, in 1996, I faced another incident that caused me to lose part of my hearing due to exposure to loud speakers. Doctors have since advised me to consider cochlear implants, but the financial burden of this procedure has been beyond my reach.

 

Over the years, the ongoing costs of medication and treatment for these injuries, combined with my inability to care for myself, have created a cascade of additional health issues, including Crohn’s disease and ulcers. It has been 8 to 10 years since I last received a comprehensive medical evaluation due to financial constraints, and my health has deteriorated during this time.

 

I find myself in urgent need of help. I am reaching out now because I can no longer manage the pain and challenges that come with my conditions. I am seeking to raise #5000000 help to cover my medical expenses, including:

  • Medications for pain management and treatment

  • Therapy sessions to regain some functionality

  • Cochlear implants to restore my hearing
