Hello, my name is Destiny chukwuemerie Nmodeme and I am 16 years old from Port Harcourt.   PROBLEM: Over 40 million market women and farmers in Nigeria struggle to sell their goods because they only depend on people who come to the market. At the same time, food is expensive in cities because of too many middlemen. Youths also have no jobs.   SOLUTION: NAIJA MARKET LINK Naija Market Link will connect market women directly to buyers using WhatsApp + USSD + Mobile App. We will train youths as “Market Link Agents” who help market women take pictures and voice notes of their goods. City buyers can then order fresh food directly with no middleman. We will also give small loans to market women.   IMPACT IN 3 MONTHS: 1. Create 50 jobs for youths in Port Harcourt 2. Help 100 market women increase their sales by 200% 3. Make food cheaper for families in the city   HOW WE WILL USE ₦1,000,000: ₦300,000 – Train 50 Market Link Agents and give them starter kits ₦400,000 – Give ₦10,000 loan to 40 market women to buy goods   ₦200,000 – Build simple app + marketing + data ₦100,000 – Transport and operations   With your support, we can start small and grow big.
