Short Story
Why I am raising the funds
I am the firstborn of my family, a student but a hustling individual who is pushing to make ends meet. My parents are struggling to pay of bills and other expenses haven’t been easy for my family. The reason I am raising this funds is that I am in debts due to pressing issues and loan I took for a medical emergency.
Though I mapped out plans to pay up the loan but my strategies didn’t work out. My debtors (who are loan apps) call me on a daily basis and threaten to spoil my name if I do not comply. Through the grace of God, I was able to get 500,000 naira to clear some debts but I still have about 1.5 million
pending, which is as a result of high interest rate from loan apps and a wrong system of payment that I adopted that involved borrowing from one app to pay another. Though overdue charges still accumulates but my main aim is to see I clear the principal payment I am meant to pay the apps.
Please, it was really difficult for me to make this decision of sending this message to you but I’m out of options. I have pondered on solutions I could use to pay up my debts and I decided to reach your organization so that I do not break down completely.
This fund raising is to pay off a debt of #1.5million owed to loan apps and enable me focus on my family, work and studies I intend doing that will empower me mentally in order to attain financial freedom in the nearest future. If the fund is raised I will be relieved from psychological stress, pressure, regrets, pain and other consequences of a bad debt. Please, I plead for your assistance in helping me to lift this burden and I will be very very grateful to experience a debt free life again. It hasn’t been an easy journey for me, I have wailed, prayed and strived but I don’t want to give up in life pursuit
Even the smallest contribution matters more than you know. If you cannot give, sharing this page costs nothing and could change everything. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.

Campaign Story
I am the firstborn in my family — a student who works to keep things going while my parents struggle with bills. When a medical emergency hit us, I had no savings to fall back on, so I turned to loan apps. What started as a small loan to handle the crisis quickly snowballed. High interest rates and a desperate cycle of borrowing from one app to pay another left me with a debt far larger than I ever intended. I managed to raise ₦500,000 on my own to clear part of it but ₦1.5 million still remains, and it grows daily.
Every single day, I receive threatening calls. These loan apps have promised to contact my family, my contacts, and anyone connected to me if I do not pay. The psychological pressure is crushing — it affects my ability to study, work, and simply function. I am not a reckless person. I made difficult decisions under impossible circumstances, and now I am asking for help to move forward.
What the funds will do
Every naira raised will go directly to clearing the outstanding loan app balances. Once this burden is lifted, I can focus fully on my studies and build the financial independence I have been working toward. This is not about luxury , it is about survival, dignity, and the chance to become the person my family needs me to be.
