Eleven days after Victor Efam was born, he was diagnosed with jaundice, this jaundice affected part of his brain responsible for movement and speech, and also caused him so suffer daily with severe high muscle tone called muscle spasms, so right from birth he has not been able to sit, stand, walk and talk, several physiotherapy sessions carried out over the years at university of Port Harcourt teaching hospital and drugs for seizures have been administered overtime, but we know more can be done for our son
We have been advised to take him to India where doctors will perform surgeries to correct the part of his brain affecting speech and mobility.
The total cost of surgeries, accommodation and travel cost is NGN19,400,000
