Appeal for Donation

Dear friends and compassionate individuals. I’m Grace and I humbly seek your support for my brother who is a young 20-year-old known HBSS and he’s been down since December, 2022. He has been unable to walk. He was on admission for 3months in which a diagnosis of Avascular Necrosis on his left leg was confirmed in February and had an Athrotomy done the same month.Still unable to walk as the leg could not bear much weight again and both legs keep getting thin. His mobility remains limited and this surgery needs to be done so as not to affect his spine. His journey has led him through various clinics – Hematology, Renal, Orthopedic, and Physiotherapy as he bravely fights to regain his mobility. He was scheduled for an operation which will cost about 350,000 before hip replacement but heartbreaking financial constraints prevented its realization because we have spent all on treatment since the whole thing started. The proposed hip replacement surgery (once he start walking without the aid of walking frame), a procedure crucial to his well-being, which carries an approximate cost of 2.5 million naira. As things stand, the lack of funds presents a grave obstacle to this essential surgery. Also, he will need money for various Laboratory investigations, & drugs. Total amount needed for him to walk again is 3,350,000 (Three million Three hundred and fifty thousand naira ) Your donation will truly make a world of difference. This donation will help him walk again and gain independence . It will be of great help to raise my brother’s hope and help him live the good life he desire/deserve. The funds will cover the 2 surgeries, laboratory investigations, physiotherapy,Hospital admission and drugs.
