Campaign Story

The family of young Jamiu Mukaila, an eight year old boy suffering from intestinal disorder or rupture of the intestine, has cried out to the general public to come for their assistance to help to carry out a medical operation to bring succour to the boy.     Jamiu Mukaila’s current operation was put at a cost of about three hundred and fifty thousand Naira. He had earlier gone for the first operation, waiting for the second which is expected to correct the medical anomaly.   They explained to PTL News that “The problem started years ago and we have commenced operations about two years ago with a sum of three hundred and eighty thousand Naira.     “We want to appeal to well-meaning Nigerians and good Samaritans, Nigeria and abroad, to help and join to raise funds for Jamiu to correct the anomaly.”     They explained further that after the first operation it is still very difficult for Jamiu to pass excreta through the normal process and the waste come out directly from his intestine, which has made it very difficult for the boy to play and relate with his peers and the family cannot stay in the midst of other people.     Jamiu was said to have come from a very poor family of a vulcaniser father and the mother a petty trader who cannot go out again to work for the upkeep of the family.   They believed if the operation was carried out it would be a big relief for the family and the boy would be able to live a normal life.     Also speaking further with PTL News, the family requested that donations can be sent to the following account details, Sterling Bank 0082577749, Popoola Juliana Wemimo, indicating donation to Jamiu Mukaila.       They explained further that the boy has been booked for treatment at Lagos State Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos, for Friday, 25th August, 2023, and lack of fund did not allow them to make the appointment.    Praying for prospective donors, they said there was no amount of support that was too small as a contribution to see the boy treated to be made whole again.     You can reach out to the family through this contact Mrs Popoola on +234 803 572 3137.
