I’m a student, and I’m struggling. I don’t have money to buy a phone or a laptop, but my classes keep moving online. While others type notes and submit assignments from their rooms, I’m in the school library till it closes, borrowing a friend’s old phone to snap pictures of the slides. Some nights I copy notes by hand under a streetlight because there’s no light at home and the cyber café is too expensive.
It’s hard. I’ve missed deadlines. I’ve felt embarrassed when group work means “send it to the WhatsApp group” and I don’t even have WhatsApp. But I haven’t quit. I wake up early to use the free computers at the department. I ask lecturers for printed handouts. One of them noticed and now lets me use her office system for an hour after class.
That’s why I need your help. Without a phone or laptop, I keep falling behind no matter how hard I try. I’m not asking for luxury — just the basic tools so I can attend online classes, submit on time, and keep up with my studies. With your help, I won’t just survive school.
