Lesi Favour Yirabari is my elder sister. She is from Rivers State and based in Portharcourt. She is a young hustling lady who was into fashion business and beauty services. She was very beautiful and lively.
Her health began to depreciate from when she gave birth in 2024. It started with mild hands and legs weakness until after a while it became very serious that she couldn’t carry her own baby anymore. This was accompanied by lost of voice. At first we thought this was post birth problems that will disappear with time. At a point her legs began to swell up.
We had to do full blood test and other tests suggested. That was when we discovered that the pain relief she has been taking for the hand and leg weakness has affected her lungs. Further diagnosis showed that she has Hypothyroidism and Spinal problem (Lumber Spondylosis at multi levels). The Specialist we met advised we commence treatment immediately for the thyroid and start taking some medication for the spine, of which after a while surgery will be carried out on her.
Right now she can’t get up by herself without being carried from the bed and from her seat. She can’t move freely as well. She drags her feet on the ground while working with much pains. She can’t have proper bath since her hands can’t go beyond her shoulder level nor below her thigh level since bending affects the spine. She can’t turn herself on the bed as if she’s totally paralyzed. Her heart beats very loud and doesn’t have rest inside her head. She says she feels light in her head just like when someone lacks blood.
This plea is very important to me as it will go a long way to help save my sister’s life and also for her to be able to take care of her little boy who just turned 2 years but couldn’t enroll in school due to financial constraint.
I promise to use your donations to offset outstanding medical bills and continue treatment that has been stopped for some weeks now due to lack of funds and also pay for surgery so she can walk again.
