Short Story
This opportunity at Scargill House is a rare and transformative chance for me to serve within a Christian community, gain practical hospitality experience, contribute to worship and community life, and develop leadership skills. Although Scargill is sponsoring my placement and providing accommodation and meals, I must personally pay mandatory immigration and medical costs before I can travel. I do not currently have the funds to cover the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) and related fees, which prevents me from completing my visa application. Raising these funds is crucial now because visa processing requires timely payment and documentation; without this support, the placement cannot proceed. Your donation will directly unlock my ability to travel, serve, and bring the skills and service I have to offer to the community.

Campaign Story
I have been accepted for a one‑year sponsored volunteer placement at Scargill House in the UK, where I will serve in hospitality, pastoral care, music, worship and community workshops. Scargill provides free accommodation, meals, pastoral care and a small allowance, but volunteers must pay mandatory visa costs themselves. I am raising funds to cover the UK Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS), required medical checks (including any TB test), visa application fee, and my flight to the UK. These payments are essential steps to secure my visa and travel. Your support will make it possible for me to join the Scargill community, serve others, and grow through this life‑changing opportunity.
