Hi, my name is Bernadette, and I’m a medical student from Nigeria with a big dream,to become a doctor who heals others with both skill and compassion. But for a long time, I’ve struggled with something that affects not just my appearance but my confidence: my teeth.

Growing up, I developed an open bite Now, it’s affecting how I smile and speak. Sometimes, I feel shy when I talk in public or take pictures. I’ve been advised to get orthodontic braces, but they’re quite expensive, and as a student, I simply can’t afford the cost right now.

I’ve started saving little by little but it will take a very long time to reach the full amount. That’s why I’m reaching out for your support.
