Help 7-Year-Old Ivan Areghan Get Urgent Heart Care ❤️ Please Help Us Give Ivan the Chance to Receive the Heart Care He Needs My name is Photizo J. Areghan, and I am reaching out with a humble and urgent request for help for my 7-year-old son, Ivan Areghan. Ivan has been living with a heart condition since childhood. What started as frequent sickness when he was very young eventually led us to discover that he had a problem with his heart. Now, after years of trying to care for him as best as we can, we have reached a point where he needs specialist paediatric cardiac care. Ivan’s Medical Journey Ivan was almost two years old when we discovered that he had a heart problem. Before the diagnosis, he frequently became sick. There were times when we took him to the hospital, brought him home, and had to return again because he was not improving as expected. After medical tests were carried out, we were told that Ivan had a hole in his heart. At that time, we were advised to continue monitoring him and that intervention would be needed as he grew older. Ivan is now 7 years old, and we are determined not to allow financial difficulties to prevent him from receiving the specialist care he needs. His Recent Echocardiogram On 26 August 2026, Ivan underwent an echocardiogram. The report showed findings including: – Right ventricular hypertrophy – Overriding aorta – Pulmonary narrowing – Ventricular septal defect (VSD) – Findings consistent with Tetralogy of Fallot – Ejection fraction (EF) of 68% Following the echocardiogram, we were advised to take Ivan to a paediatric cardiologist for specialist assessment and further management. This is our immediate medical priority. We need to understand exactly what treatment Ivan requires and whether he will need further investigations, medication, a cardiac procedure, surgery, or another form of specialist care. Why We Are Raising ₦30 Million At this stage, we do not want to pretend that we already know the exact cost of Ivan’s treatment. The ₦30 million fundraising target is a provisional goal intended to help cover the medical journey ahead, including specialist consultations, investigations, treatment, possible cardiac intervention or surgery, hospital expenses, medication, transportation, accommodation where necessary, and other related costs. Once Ivan is assessed by the appropriate specialist and we receive a confirmed treatment plan and cost estimate, we will provide updates and adjust our fundraising information where necessary. Our Hope for Treatment in Germany We are also hoping to explore the possibility of having Ivan receive appropriate specialist treatment and care in Germany, where we believe he may have access to advanced paediatric cardiac services. However, we want to be completely transparent: we have not yet secured treatment at a German hospital. We are still exploring this possibility and will follow the recommendations of qualified doctors and the requirements of any hospital involved, including medical assessment, acceptance, travel arrangements, visa requirements, and funding. Our goal is simple: to get Ivan to the right medical team and give him the best opportunity to receive the care his condition requires.
