GAMEBOI
My name is Shola Yusuf, I am an entrepreneur.
As its no news that we are in the tech age,there is an ever growing demand in the gaming industry. I for one as a gamer know there is an untapped goldmine in the gaming sector. I have in mind a chain of gaming parlour/lounge. Located at the heart of a residential and commercial environment. Gaming is a form of electronic sports that almost everyone can participate in especially children and the youth. At any point in time there’s always a large number of youth in the world. “GAMEBOI” stands out because of the quality and comfortable gaming experience we offer to young gamers. We offer good music,good air, comfortable atmosphere,snacks and above all world class gaming.
Operations will start at a shop in a relatively dense populated residential area e.g kubwa,lugbe,wise,Caro, etc. Gaming will start by 10:am and end by 10:00pm daily. For a start we will need some items, below is a breakdown of items needed….
(1)- two 45″television set
(2)-two playstation 4 consoles,gaming disc,six gaming pads.
(3)- Interior decor
(4)- mini sound system
(5)- generator set
(6)- stabilizer and UPS
(7)- two comfortable 2 seater couches and fancy stools
(8)- snack stand
A set of games will last for about 10-12 minutes per gamer. Gamers will pay N100 per game. A gamer will get to play one free game after playing three times. Upon lunch,there’s going to be a 48hour gaming spree for gamers around to advertise,for awareness and to enable people know there is now a gaming haven around the block to have your best gaming experience that’s definitely value for your money. Gaming operations will start at the shop. Now there are gamers everywhere,due to this fact there is a need for an expansion to everywere, after at least 18 months of operations,all things equal, we will acquire another space or shop in an equally dense residential area, from there on we establish a chain of gameshops or “gamebois” across the city and then the country at large. We also plan the exclusive sale of “GAMEBOI” merchandise such as GAMEBOI crested hats, shirts, handbands as well as souvenirs. We plan to market the product by many means. The use of social media platforms such as like WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook among others will be used to promote the brand. Handbills will be printed and distributed among the youth of the neighborhood, signboards will be utilized at strategic positions of the neighborhood. We also plan to have annual gaming competition for elite gamers, which winners will be rewarded handsomely. There’s always going to be a room for improvement and expansion, because the goal is to attain international heights and recognition worldwide. An international chain of gameshops…..
