Campaign Story

Boko Haram Insurgency Since 2009, the popular terrorists, Boko Haram has been carrying out various terror attacks in many parts of Northern Nigeria, killing many and rendering millions homeless. People in the Maikohi IDP camp has not been left as they’ve seen their homes destroyed and their loved ones killed. A recent visit to the camp left me in tears as I saw the bad medical condition of these people especially the children. Diseases has ravaged their camps even killing a few among them. Most common of the diseases is the malaria disease which wreaked havoc on them and since they can’t afford to get drugs and the only health center in the camp closed for years, they can only trust in herbs which has no guarantee. What Will the Funds Be Used For? All funds raised on this project will be used to purchase mosquito nets and insectides. This will help the refugees, women, and children. Being away from their home, they need the simplest of everyday things.   We ask for your support! Today everyone can be a volunteer, a donor – just do a good deed. Help these people in Maikohi Camps. With your donation, we will be able to provide the following necessities of affected families:

  • Mosquito Nets.
  • Insecticides.
  • Bathing Soaps, Towels, Tooth Brushes etc.
  • Food stuffs
  • Clothings etc.

In this terrible reality, when innocent people are affected by this attacks, any small donation will make a difference. We pray for peace and ask everyone not to remain indifferent. We sincerely want to extend a helping hand to everyone who needs it. I would be happy if you could use the [Help by sharing] button to share about my project!
