Campaign Story

• My name is Ene, and I’m a 400-level law student with dreams of becoming a successful entertainment lawyer and fashion model. My parents have worked hard every step of the way to pay my fees and keep me  in school — but recently not so recent actually, something devastating happened.

I was scammed by someone I once called a friend. I didn’t have a phone at the time so I couldn’t receive alert and because this is someone I know I chose not to believe he would do something like this to me, he told me he wanted to transfer some money to my account which I agreed to and after some time he said he needed the money, meanwhile my school fees account I can’t make any transfer because I just go to school and pay with my card that’s the only access I have to the money so he knew this and knew I can’t see alert, he took the card withdrew the money and till today I haven’t seen him nor my money.  I tried with the police and even SARS to recover the money but nothing yet, that is why I’m resulting to this. This is just a summary of what happened  As heartbreaking as this has been emotionally, what scares me most now is that I might miss my exams. I’m on the verge of all I’ve worked for crumbling — not because I didn’t try, but because I trusted the wrong person. I’m humbly asking for help to raise ₦2,000,000 to cover my fees before the exam deadline. Even the smallest donation brings me closer to staying in school and reclaiming my future.
