Campaign Story
Agriculture is the backbone of Nigeria, yet it remains one of the most physically demanding and high-risk sectors. For the millions of smallholder farmers across the country, a single unpredictable rainstorm or an undetected pest outbreak can mean the difference between a harvest and hunger. For farmers living with physical disabilities, these risks are even more acute. Traditional farming methods require constant manual monitoring—patrolling vast fields, checking soil moisture by hand, and scouting for tiny insects.
Climatovate was founded to solve this through “Precision Intelligence.” Most weather services provide data for an entire city or region, which is often useless for a specific farm. Our technology drills down to a 30-meter radius, giving the farmer a digital map of their own soil.
With this campaign, we are evolving our mission. We recognize that precision technology is the ultimate assistive device. By transforming complex satellite and sensor data into simple, local-language voice and SMS alerts, we are removing the physical barriers to farming. We are making it possible for a farmer with mobility challenges to manage 5 hectares with the same precision as a large-scale commercial enterprise—all from the palm of their hand.
