Campaign Story

Hi, my name is Mohammed Abdulsalam (also known as Tunji Abdulsalam)  and I am fundraising for my class mate – Bumi Efejuku. Bumi is an Economics graduate, self employed caterer, mom and main caregiver of 3 children. In June of 2022, she was diagnosed with breast cancer during routine check by LEAH Foundation. She immediately began a structured course of treatment at SOPD and Oncology Departments of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital where she has been paying out of pocket with the support of friends and family. So far, she has received 7 out of 8 planned chemotherapy sessions. These has impacted her business, nevertheless, Bumi has been strong and kept a smile on her face. She’s scheduled for left breast masectomy (major surgery), multiple radiotherapy doses and drug intake in the coming months. Kindly chip in your donations to keep her alive and healthy.
