Campaign Story

Before the COVID-19 outbreak in 2019, the prevalence of asthma in Nigeria was approximately 13 million cases according to Ozoh et al., (2019) ranking amongst the highest in Africa. With the constantly rising cost of living in the country, prices of medications have skyrocketed (Ventolin inhaler now sells for 10-15K while seretide sells for 48-60K) and become unaffordable to many. This campaign is aimed at generating funds so as to subsidize and/or provide free inhalers to asthmatic patients all over the country.
